The LeadershipCares™ Annual Golf Classic is the primary fundraising event for the LeadershipCares™ Foundation. The Golf Classic is highly anticipated every year because of the premier golf facilities, exquisite luncheon buffet, networking opportunities, and most importantly the desire our participants have to give back to their community.

Every dollar raised from this event goes directly to support our three outreach programs in mentoring, literacy and hunger relief. LeadershipCares™ is a 501c3 non-profit and your contributions are fully tax deductible.

What We Do

LeadershipCares™ teaches both youth and adults the leadership and life skills vital to their success and encourages the use of these skills in service to others through outreach programs in mentoring, literacy advocacy, and hunger relief.  Since 1998 LeadershipCares™ has operated community outreach programs focused on three primary areas of service.
 
MentorCares™ is a program that teaches mentoring, leadership and life skills to high school students in order to prepare them for a mentoring relationship with an incoming 9th grade student. The mentor and mentee participate with trained caring adults in annual events focused on building leadership skills, exploring career opportunities and celebrating volunteerism.  

LiteracyCares™ promotes involvement by young leaders in literacy volunteer opportunities and presents its annual LiteracyCares™ Award of Excellence to outstanding volunteer tutors.  

ThanksgivingCares™ is an annual program in which our young leaders collect, assemble and help deliver all the needed ingredients for a traditional Thanksgiving meal to families in need.  In 2006 our young leaders served over 800 families.
