Dye Golf Club 9526 Doctor Perry Rd. Ijamsville MD 21754. The perfect weather made for an incredible day of golf at the challenging P.B. Dye course. The event kicked off at 8:00am with a continental breakfast followed by 18 holes of golf. A networking and awards luncheon was held in the afternoon. Gold Level Sponsorship was generously provided by PhRMA. Other major sponsors included Quinn Gillespie and Associates and the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington. Organizations represented at this year’s event included the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association, McBee Strategies, The Beal Group, Elmendorf Strategies, the American Trucking Association, TCH Group LLC., Quinn Gillespie and Associates, Ford Motor Company, and Monsanto Inc. A buffet lunch was served and prizes went to the top three teams. There was a drawing for other prizes including dinners donated by generous members of the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington. With the financial assistance from these organizations, LeadershipCares™ will be able to operate its MentorCares™ youth-to-youth mentoring program, increase its Washington D.C. area LiteracyCares™ outreach, feed over 650 families through its annual ThanksgivingCares™ Basket program and fund its LeadershipCares scholarship fund for graduating MentorCares students.
